It
is a year since my last posting. During that time much has happened. The
most significant event is our departure from Yelapa, Mexico; and our full-time
return to Southern California.
Here's
what I've been doing: 1) all nine editions of Adventures with Teo-Aventuras con Teo are reformatted with
detailed artwork and embedded with actual Yelapa sounds to compliment the
narrative; 2) work is nearly complete on the compiling and editing of three
years, (one hundred and one entries) of postings on the Yelapa Memo blog. This
compilation will be released soon in e-book and hard copy as Beyond the Guano: A Yelapa Memoir. Expected
launch date is January 30, 2016.
The
goal of the forthcoming book is to offer all Yelapa visitors a unique
view of the village. One section is dedicated to those considering retirement
in Yelapa, or any other international location. Topics include budget, health
care, security, language awareness and more. At the same time, it serves as a
travelogue of where to go, what to eat and drink, and what you'll see.
In
my humble opinion, Beyond the Guano
offers much more than any of the travel guides. You be the
jury.
The updated
and enhanced nine editions of Teo are only available on Amazon at the following

Give
a child the gift of literature this year. Then after January 30th, treat
yourself to Beyond the Guano: A Yelapa
Memoir. Bring smiles for two faces.
P.S.
The new book will be released under my name: DW Risdon
