We inhabit a planet fraught with war, disease and famine. Such has always been and will
always be. We live lives imbued with events ranging from minute to magnificent. (Ditto on the always be/always will be) What defines each beginning is the mix
we place into our emotional/intellectual salad bowl for the balance of the
year. No two years are alike since each is an evolution of those previously logged. Right? Just a thought.
Adventures with Teo-Adventuras con
Teo
As of
yesterday afternoon nine editions were online and available for purchase.
The Teo Team (e.g. Dianne Risdon-illustrator, Erin Sorenson-editor, Alfredo
Reyes-translator) deserves immense credit for breathing life into an
undeveloped idea about a young boy, Teo, who experiences Yelapa each summer.
Your support of our efforts is humbling and appreciated. These editions are available in fifty-one countries.
Please continue to spread the word.
MEMO AWARDS 2014
These
"awards" were launched three years ago as a tongue- in-cheek
opportunity to feature many of my favorite food/service providers. There is no
statistical analysis performed, no voting body to contend with and certainly no
gold embossed envelopes to recycle. There is only I! (Yes, that is the correct
grammar) New categories are added each year. Let's proceed.
